Rodney has been for the longest time
trying to write, for me, a really good ballad.
I like songs that,
like the one he did just a few minutes ago,
Pile of Crowns.
That song just suits him so well,
that's just his song.
But a song for me to want to sing,
it just has to move me.
I mean, it just has to say something to
me and bless me.
When Ronnie brought this song to me,
he said, now this I've
written for you.
He's done this to me three times,
I guess, in all the years I've known him.
He said, this is your song.
And he brought this song in,
and he said, is your song.
As a matter of fact,
we were at my house.
He came over to my house.
We had some company there,
had a little lunch,
and went into the
room where the piano is.
And Rodney was going to sing
me this song.
And it was all I could do to listen.
I mean, it just, it was something
that I had never thought about,
really.
you know we've been to

and we've went outside the gate

which is the empty tomb

but matter of fact

two or three times
and I'm always wondering
when I study the word
I wonder how could Jesus have
walked here like he did
and folks not realized who he was
they were coming

with the creator of the universe

Every chance I want to get
