From glen to glen
C
and down the mountainside.
D
The summer's gone,
G
and all the flowers are dying.
Tis you, tis you must go,
and I must bide.
But come ye back when summer's
in the meadow,
Or when the valley's hushed and
D
white with snow.
Am
Tis I'll be here in sunshine or
in shadow.

O Danny boy,

O Danny boy, I love you so.
G

C
G

D
You'll come and find the place where I lie,

D
And I shall hear those
Em
G
soft few tread above me,
F
D
an d all my dreams will warm
Am
and sweeter be.
G
Am
If you'll not fail to tell me that you love me,
D
I'll simply sleep in peace
G
until you come to me.
It is with reverence and respect
C
that we now present
G
for our most dear and departed friend,
D
G
